Wii Menu version 4.3 is now available for your Wii console. To update your Wii Menu to the latest version, please select the Update button at the bottom of the screen or select the System Update option in Wii System Settings. This update provides behind-the-scenes fixes that will not affect features but will improve the overall system performance. Allows the “Bannerbomb” exploit used in older Wii Menu versions to be used on the latest Wii version. Region Free EVERYTHING: Enables region free for any Wii game, including downloaded ones. Block Disc Updates: Removes the “Wii System Update” screen that is included on some games forcing you to update them to play the game.
My system was a brand new Wii, bought unsealed in February 2013, never modded in any way or fashion. I am very very uncomfortable about any modding or hacking and like the system completely clean. I updated it to the latest 4.3E system version when I first turned the console on and the system asked/recommended me to. Later on, I bought Black Ops, and it asked me for update, which I did. So the system was completely fresh version. Matlab torrent with crack kickass kat.
After all that, the May 20th 2014 came and Nintendo Wi-Fi was shut down. I finally decided to install the HBC cause it was the only way to play online again, via the Wiimmfi server. I did only a Letterbomb install from please.hackmii.com, and I even chose NOT to install BootMii in the process because I didn't want anything other than what is elementary for accessing the Wiimmfi online play.
During the update from 4.2u to 4.3u the system stopped at and give me the. I have 4.3U but you cannot access the Wii Shop because it tells you need an update. How to get Homebrew Channel 4.2U/4.3U one Wii ----- 4.3u hack. ----- Important need this. I had read somewhere that you can use the wii's internet capabilities even if it was softmodded. But when I try to get on the wii shop channel it promps me for a system update. I have 3 questions. 1) Is it possible to get on there without doing an update, if so how.
I plan to buy 'Zelda Skyward Sword' disc soon, which I know will ask for a system update.
What will happen if I update? Is there any risk of malfunction/brick? I need to emphasize that I do not plan to install anything additional to the console (Priiloader, BootMii, etc.).
I've read numerous discussions about this, most say that the update will simply delete the HBC, some even say that it won't even affect the HBC, that all will remain the same and unaffected.
Could anyone with knowledge about the code behind the way the HBC installs to the system answer this? Is the HBC installed on the system as an IOS? If so, does the update stub the IOS that holds the HBC? Or, since the system was latest 4.3E in the time of the LetterBomb install, maybe update won't do anything to the system?
